String Orchestra Camp

UMSL String Orchestra Camp

June 12-15, 2018

Designed for high-school-aged string students, our NEW string orchestra camp offers an intensive curriculum focused on strengthening your individual instrumental skills, getting more out of your practice time, and enhancing your orchestral experience.  Held in the world-class Touhill Performing Arts Center on the UMSL campus, activities will include instrumental classes and sectionals, physical health and awareness, previews of collegiate music courses, and orchestral rehearsals that promise to inspire and transform your musicianship.

The UMSL String Orchestra Camp is led by UMSL’s acclaimed Orchestra Conductor, Darwin Aquino (Personal Website), with instrumental sessions taught by UMSL’s String Faculty, the renowned Arianna String Quartet (Quartet Website).
