The University Chorus consists of approximately 75 UMSL students and community people.  It is offered both as a credit class and as a part of the Continuing Education program.  An emphasis is placed on presenting quality choral literature of all historical periods and styles.  Past major works have included Mendelssohn's Elijah,  Dvorak's Te Deum, and Handel's Messiah.The Chorus presents two major concerts per year, collaborating with the University Orchestra and the University Singers in the annual Holiday concert.
